The three candidates are running on a shared platform that emphasizes service over partisan politics and seeks to represent the diverse communities within the township.
Berliner currently chairs the Fields Advisory Board, where he has focused on repairing drainage systems and advocating for a new multisport field at Votee Park. His campaign centers on creating shared public spaces that bring the town together.
Kolb brings a career in education to the race, having taught in both public and private schools, including within the Teaneck Public Schools district. She also serves on the board of the Teaneck Chamber of Commerce, a role that has involved advocating for residents and solving local problems.
Ramjattan, a graduate of local schools, works as a professional rail engineer. He is a member of the Zoning Board of Adjustment and cites his understanding of the town's physical layout as a key asset for responsible growth.
The slate prioritizes fiscal accountability, public safety, and the maintenance of the township's quality of life. The candidates state that they view effective local government as an act of service rather than a political endeavor.
Voters in Teaneck will select the next council members on Election Day. The One Team, One Teaneck slate encourages residents to support their candidates to ensure cooperation between the township's various communities.
