Republican Senate candidate Justin Murphy appeared with News 12's Erik Landskroner on Oct. 24 for a three-part interview covering the issues he plans to raise before voters head to the polls. Murphy, a Navy veteran and former deputy mayor of Tabernacle, is challenging incumbent Democrat Sen. Cory Booker, who is seeking a third full term.

In the first segment, Murphy laid out the Republican Party's goals and discussed the war in Iran, including how the conflict affects the cost of living for New Jersey households. He also addressed his campaign's approach to winning over voters in the days leading up to Election Day.

Murphy's second conversation with Landskroner turned to immigration and border security. He also discussed whether Immigration and Customs Enforcement requires reform and strengthening voter integrity in New Jersey.

The final segment covered Murphy's plans to improve New Jersey's economy and his assessment of the Democratic Party in the Garden State.

Booker's campaign for another term comes as speculation continues about a potential run for the White House. Murphy has centered his campaign on the men and women of the armed forces.
