Jay-Z will headline the Super Bowl halftime show on February 14, 2027. The performance will take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. As the partner organization Roc Nation has produced the halftime show for the NFL since 2019, Jay-Z holds final authority over the lineup. He has selected himself as the main act for this year's event.
The primary uncertainty surrounding the show remains the guest list. While the headliner is confirmed, no special performers have been officially announced. Industry insiders and fans are speculating about four specific artists who have strong historical ties to Jay-Z and the NFL.
Beyonce is the most frequently cited name. She has been married to Jay-Z since 2018 and shares three children with him. The couple has collaborated on multiple tracks, including "Crazy in Love" and "Drunk in Love." Beyonce also performed at the 2016 Super Bowl halftime show alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars, and she sang the national anthem in Houston in 2001.
Rihanna is another strong candidate. Jay-Z discovered her in 2005 while serving as CEO of Def Jam Records. She later signed with Roc Nation in 2010. The two have recorded songs such as "Umbrella" and "Run This Town." Rihanna recently joined Jay-Z on stage at Yankee Stadium during his current tour. She served as the headliner for the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show in Dallas.
Two other names frequently mentioned are Blu Ivy Carter and Eminem. Blu Ivy, the couple's eldest child, has already performed on an NFL stage. She danced during her mother's Christmas Day 2024 halftime performance in Houston. She also joined the Cowboy Carter tour as a dancer. Eminem collaborated with Jay-Z on the 2001 track "Renegade." He appeared as a special guest at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show, performing alongside other hip-hop legends.
The Super Bowl championship game itself remains undecided until the end of January 2027. The halftime show is scheduled for a 14-minute duration. Roc Nation will handle the production and technical aspects of the performance at SoFi Stadium.
