Rabbi Eli Ciner, principal of Yeshivat Frisch, praised the team’s character and preparation. “I am incredibly proud of the remarkable effort these boys put into preparing for the tournament and the sacrifice it took,” Ciner said. He added that the Los Angeles community noted the players’ kindness and respect.
